Glenville Rotary hosts and participates in many events in our community:

- Ziti Dinner
- Muddy Sneaker 5K
- Glenville Oktoberfest
Golf Tournament
The Golf Tournament is typically the first Thursday in the month of August and is the largest fundraiser for the club. Past tournaments have been played
at the Van Patten Country Club in Clifton Park.
The date for the 2012 golf classic at VanPatten Country Club is Thursday, August 2. Entry forms and information about the tournament are now posted for the event.

Ziti Dinner
Our Ziti
Dinner is held the first Friday in February at the Glenville Senior Center
on Worden Road in Glenville. The 2012 Ziti Dinner will be on Friday, February 3, 2012.
The dinner benefits the Scotia Glenville Food Pantry and the Northeast Regional Food Bank. Rotarians and local businesses team to host a Ziti Dinner for the community that supports these

Muddy Sneaker 5K Trail Run
The inaugural running of our Muddy Sneaker 5K Trail Run got rescheduled due to Hurricane Irene in August 2011. We rescheduled for early September and had a great field of runners for the both 5K and the 1 Mile fun run. Sponsors featured local Health and Wellness businesses and the soggy fields ensured that everyone had their own Muddy Sneakers as they crossed the finish line! Scheduling for the 2012 Muddy Sneaker is underway... Check back for details...
Glenville Oktoberfest
Glenville Rotary is actively involved in the Glenville Oktoberfest annual event. Oktoberfest is held on the grounds of the Schenectady County Airport on the Saturday prior to Columbus Day Weekend (usually around October 1). Rotarians are active members of the organizing committee and also participate on the day of the event! Our Amazing Castle is a big favorite with the kids, we host a number of classic carnival games, and also work with other local Rotary clubs to direct parking for the thousands of our neighbors that attend this great annual event.
